TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Fire Rescue crews rushed to a home on the 4000 block of West Waterman Avenue early Tuesday morning after reports of a structure fire.
Just around 2:00 a.m., first responders arrived to find smoke and heavy flames pouring from the east side of a single-story house. Firefighters moved quickly, bringing the situation under control within 15 minutes.

After knocking down the flames, crews conducted primary and secondary searches of the residence. Fortunately, the house was empty at the time, and no injuries were reported among civilians or fire personnel.
While the fire is out, the scene remains active. Fire investigators are currently working to determine what sparked the blaze.
The American Red Cross has also been contacted to help the homeowner navigate the aftermath.
