TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 9000 block of Pebble Glen Ave at approximately 6:20 pm on Sunday.

Officials say Engine 21 was first on the scene and found a single-story home with heavy smoke and flames through the roof of the garage.

Crews began with an offensive attack on the blaze, then converted to an aerial attack due to the change in fire conditions.

The incident was upgraded to a second alarm for additional resources. Firefighters had the blaze under control within an hour.

A family was inside the home when the fire began, however, all residents were able to safely evacuate the structure. There were no reported injuries to firefighters or civilians.

A Hillsborough County Fire investigator was on the scene, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
