Tampa Fire Rescue Battles Morning Blaze On N. Nebraska

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 6900 block of N. Nebraska Ave. at approximately 7:55 am on Tuesday.

The first arriving Engine found a vacant/ abandoned commercial building with heavy smoke and flames.

Firefighters had the blaze under control within 20 minutes.

“A primary and secondary search was completed with no occupants inside the structure. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians reported at the scene,” said TFR.

TFR fire investigators were on the scene, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
