TAMPA, FL. – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at the 3000 block of N. 17th St. at 9:02 am Tuesday morning.
Officials say that Engine 10 was first on the scene and found two single-story houses with heavy smoke and flames visible from in between the two houses.
Crews made entry in to the structure and completed a primary and secondary search. No occupants were in the structure and two dogs were rescued.
The fire was under control within 30 minutes. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians reported at the scene. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the families of the two homes.
