TAMPA, Fla – Tampa Fire Rescue is on scene of a large brush pile fire in the West Shore area of South Tampa the approximate location is at Millbrook Ave and West Fair Oaks Ave.
Fire officials say the wind is blowing the fire towards the water at this time and there appears to be no threat of extension to surrounding homes.
Firefighters are actively flowing water on the pile to get it out as soon as possible.
