TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa International Airport (TPA) plans to remain open during Tropical Storm Nicole, according to officials.
“After reviewing the Tampa Bay area forecast for Tropical Storm Nicole this morning, TPA does not anticipate significant weather impacts that would warrant closing the airport,” said the airport.
Airlines may still decide to delay or cancel some flights, “We are urging travelers to please check with their airline for the latest flight information,” said TPA on Wednesday.
TPA said they will continue to monitor this system closely and will share any changes to the status of their operations.
