Tampa Man Killed When His Pickup Truck Crashes Into Wesley Chapel House

A 62-year-old Tampa was has died after a crash that happened around 4:13 am on Sunday in Wesley Chapel, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – A 62-year-old Tampa man has died after a crash that happened around 4:13 am on Sunday in Wesley Chapel, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the man was driving a Ford F150 pickup truck northbound on Tupelo Lane in Wesley Chapel.

At the intersection of Thistle Court, investigators say the man failed to negotiate a right turn for an unknown reason.

The pickup truck then departed the roadway and collided with the garage of a residence located at 1920 thistle Court.

Troopers say the man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

No other reported injuries in this crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
