TAMPA, FL. – Tampa Police Chief Mary O’Connor will host the 3rd community forum on gun violence on Monday, February 28th, 2022.
This is the third forum in a series of community meetings to address local issues and concerns.
The community is encouraged to attend and join in the discussion as we work to find solutions to address gun violence in our communities. Chief Mary O’Connor will address what the department is doing and new initiatives being put in place to help combat the problem.
Where: The Tampa Education Center, Saint Leo University, 1403 N. Howard Ave. Tampa, FL. 33607
When: Monday, February 28th, 2022, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
Rise Up For Peace Founder/CEO Patricia Brown will also be in attendance to speak as well. Brown lost her son to gun violence in March 2020.
