Police Investigating Circumstances After Bodies Discovered In W Texas Avenue Home
TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is investigating the deaths of two adults at a residence in West Tampa, an incident officials say is isolated and appears to be a murder-suicide.
Officers responded to the 2400 block of W Texas Avenue at approximately 12:54 p.m. today, where they located a deceased adult female and a deceased adult male.
“Based on preliminary findings, this appears to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community,” a police statement confirmed.
The scene remains active as investigators work to determine the circumstances leading up to the tragedy. The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
The Tampa Police Department indicated that this is an active investigation.
