TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are currently conducting a fatal Hit & Run investigation on N. 50th St. between Melburne Blvd and E 26th Ave.
According to investigators, Tampa Police were dispatched around 7:75 p.m. on Sunday, to the report of an adult black male who was struck by a vehicle. The victim died as a result of his injuries.
The suspect vehicle was reportedly a black sedan, possibly a 4-door, police say.
The northbound lanes of N. 50th St were closed to traffic until around 11:00 p.m. Sunday.
