TAMPA, FL. – An arrest has been made in the Saturday shooting at Skyway Park.
According to police, on Saturday, Dec. 11th, units responded to Skyway Park reference a fight and possible shooting.
Upon arrival, units located evidence of a shooting (casing and blood), but no victim.
Per witnesses, after being shot, the victim entered an unknown vehicle and left the scene to a nearby hospital. Officers made contact with the victim at the hospital.
Through investigative means, officers were able to identify Michael E. Allen as the shooter and a warrant was issued.
On Wednesday, Allen was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon/Firearm-Discharge, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Tampering with Evidence.
