TAMPA, FL. – A domestic-related barricade situation turned deadly Monday, with now two people confirmed dead by Tampa Police.
Police were on the scene of a barricaded subject earlier Monday. Neighbors in the area were evacuated.
The incident happened in the 1500 block of 28th Avenue in Tampa.
Police say the incident is domestic-related at a home on the 1500 block of 28th Ave.
“At this time, we can confirm at least one person is deceased and another person has been taken to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing. Updated will be provided when information becomes available,” said Tampa Police PIO in a statement earlier Monday.
Police now say a second person, an adult male was found deceased in the home.
No further updates are expected tonight, but we will update this story when more details are released.
