TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police Detectives have successfully dismantled a major narcotics supply operation in the Sulphur Springs area and along the Nebraska Avenue corridor after a long-term investigation.
The investigation began in 2023 when authorities identified Antonio Lagreera as a primary supplier of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine in the area.
After months of undercover operations and gathering critical evidence, detectives executed a search warrant on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 9417 N. 13th St, Apartment B.

Lagreera was arrested at the residence, where 26-year-old Kendric Daniels also resided. During the search, detectives recovered eight firearms, ammunition, and a substantial amount of narcotics, including 224 grams of fentanyl, 221.1 grams of methamphetamine, and over 700 grams of cocaine. Authorities also seized $15,946 in cash for forfeiture.
“The hard work and determination of everyone involved in this investigation have made the Sulphur Springs area and Nebraska Avenue corridor safer for residents and visitors,” said Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw. “Tampa has zero tolerance for illegal drug activity, and we will use all resources available to hold those responsible fully accountable.”
Both Lagreera and Daniels were transported to the Orient Road Jail, where they face the following charges:
