TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should expect delays and detours on East 4th Avenue due to a full road closure for water maintenance.
Starting at 9:00 AM today, East 4th Avenue will be closed to traffic between North 17th Street and Angel Oliva Senior Street. This closure will allow the Tampa Water Department to perform essential maintenance on the water distribution system.

Barricades and signs will be in place to guide motorists and assist with rerouting. Drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling in the area.
The road closure is expected to remain in effect until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 17th. However, the work schedule may be modified due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
