Motorists Advised of Detours and Delays Through Thursday Evening
TAMPA, Fla. – Beginning at 9:00 AM today, East Sligh Avenue is closed to traffic between North 22nd Street and North 24th Street as the Tampa Water Department undertakes additional repairs following a recent water main break.
The closure is expected to remain in effect until 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, contingent on weather conditions.

Crews from the Tampa Water Department are on-site to address the necessary repairs. Barricades and signage have been deployed in the affected area to guide motorists and assist with traffic flow.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution and be aware of potential schedule changes as repairs progress.
