TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers on West Euclid Avenue should prepare for delays and consider alternate routes, as the eastbound lane between East Royal Palm Circle and South Hesperides Street will be closed starting today at 9 a.m.
The Tampa Water Department is implementing the closure to conduct essential maintenance on the water distribution system.
Details of the Closure
- Location: Eastbound lane of West Euclid Avenue, between East Royal Palm Circle and South Hesperides Street.
- Hours of Operation: The lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Duration: Work is currently expected to be completed, with a return to normal traffic patterns, by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 30. However, the work schedule is dependent on weather conditions.
Traffic Safety and Rerouting
Barricades and flaggers will be stationed in the area to manage traffic flow and assist with rerouting vehicles.
The Tampa Water Department urges drivers to exercise caution when approaching the work zone and advises them to seek alternate routes to avoid potential congestion. The department also noted that modifications to the lane closures may be necessary as the work progresses.
