TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Temple Terrace should plan for a brief detour late Sunday night as crews move in for maintenance on the I-75 interchange. Starting at 11 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, the northbound exit ramp to Fletcher Avenue and Morris Bridge Road (Exit 266) will be fully closed to traffic.
If you are traveling through the area, the Florida Department of Transportation has set up a detour to bypass the work zone.
Northbound drivers will need to exit early at Exit 265, stay left toward Fowler Avenue West, and then turn right onto Morris Bridge Road to head back toward Fletcher. Southbound travelers needing that exit will also be diverted to Exit 265, keeping right toward Fowler before turning north onto Morris Bridge Road.

Electronic signs will be active to guide motorists through the detour, but officials are asking everyone to slow down and stay alert for workers near the roadway.
Weather permitting, the ramp is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday morning, just in time for the morning commute. For real-time updates or questions, the state has provided a contact line at 813-975-6204.
