TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers heading south on North Tampa Street should be aware of a lane closure starting today, February 11, 2025, at 9 a.m. The southbound inner lane will be closed between East Indiana Avenue and East Kentucky Avenue.
This closure is necessary for the Tampa Water Department to finalize repairs and restore the road after an earlier water main break.

Traffic flow will be guided by barricades and signs. The city recommends considering alternate routes and using caution when driving in the area. The lane closure may be adjusted as work progresses.
The Tampa Water Department expects to complete the work and reopen the lane by 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 13th, weather permitting.
