TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists traveling on West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard should be aware of a current lane closure impacting westbound traffic between North Darwin Avenue and North Dartmouth Avenue.
The outer westbound lane has been closed as the Tampa Water Department undertakes emergency repairs to a water main break.

Barricades and signage are in the affected area to help guide traffic. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and anticipate potential delays when navigating this stretch of road.
The Water Department anticipates completing the work and returning to normal traffic patterns by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025. However, this timeline is contingent upon weather conditions.
