TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should be aware of a lane closure on West Tampa Bay Boulevard starting today.
Beginning at 9:00 AM, the eastbound lane of West Tampa Bay Boulevard between North Habana Avenue and North Tampania Avenue will be closed. This closure is necessary to allow the Tampa Water Department to perform maintenance on the water distribution system.

Barricades and flaggers will be in place to help direct traffic flow. Drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling in the area.
The lane closure is expected to remain in effect until 4:00 PM on Monday, January 6th. However, work schedules may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.
