TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists in Tampa should be aware of lane closures on West Columbus Drive beginning this morning.
Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1st, 2024, the outside and middle eastbound lanes of West Columbus Drive will be closed between North Grady Avenue and Jim Walter Boulevard. This closure is necessary to allow crews from the Tampa Water Department to finalize road restoration work following a previous water main break repair.

The lane closures are expected to remain in effect until 5:00 p.m. today, at which time normal traffic flow will resume. However, it is important to note that this schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity and to be mindful of potential traffic delays. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place to guide motorists.
