The closures are scheduled for two distinct periods: November 2nd through November 6th and again from November 9th through November 13th.
Detour Information
Drivers needing to access Downtown East-West during these hours must use the posted detour:
- Take Exit 46A.
- Turn right onto Floribraska Avenue.
- Turn left onto Tampa Street and continue south to access Scott Street, Laurel Street, and Cass Street.
Construction Details
The temporary nighttime ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform construction activities related to the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will be deployed to guide motorists through the area. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution while traveling through the work zone and to remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers.
