TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa commuters are advised of a lane closure on North Nebraska Avenue as the Tampa Water Department addresses a water main break in the area.
The outside northbound lane of North Nebraska Avenue is currently closed between East 123rd Avenue and East 124th Avenue. The closure is necessary to allow Tampa Water Department crews to repair a damaged water main.
Barricades and signs have been placed to guide traffic through the affected area, and drivers are urged to use caution when traveling past the work zone. The Tampa Water Department also noted that modifications to the current setup may be necessary as the repair work progresses.
Normal traffic patterns are tentatively expected to resume by 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 9. This schedule, however, is contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
