TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Water Department will close the northbound outer lane and bike lane on South Himes Avenue between West Wallcraft Avenue and West Euclid Avenue at 9 a.m. today, February 25. The closure is required for maintenance on the local water distribution system.
Northbound traffic is currently being diverted into the center lane. The city has installed signs and barricades to manage traffic flow through the work zone.
Drivers are advised to use caution or seek alternate routes, as lane configurations may change throughout the day depending on the progress of the repairs.
The project is expected to be completed and all lanes reopened by 5 p.m. today. This schedule remains subject to change based on weather conditions.
