NewsNation will broadcast a two-hour live town hall titled “The Future is Now: A NewsNation Town Hall” on Tuesday, July 28, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET.
Moderated by anchor Chris Cuomo, the special event will focus on advancements in technology and their potential long-term impacts across various sectors, including health, medicine, employment, space, and travel.
The program will feature discussions with several prominent figures across science, business, and media, including astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, author and Prof G Media founder Scott Galloway, Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe, medical futurist Dr. Dan Kraft, longevity researcher Bryan Johnson, and Axios senior AI reporter Madison Mills.
In addition to guest interviews, the broadcast will include live studio demonstrations from NewsNation’s New York City headquarters, featuring walking-and-talking humanoid robots, alongside Toborlife Robot Chief Technology Officer George Ekas.
The town hall will take place in front of a live studio audience and will preempt the network’s regularly scheduled broadcast of On Balance with Leland Vittert. For viewers missing the initial broadcast, NewsNation plans to air encore presentations at 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. ET.
