The incident unfolded around 9:37 p.m. on February 21, when Tarpon Springs police officers were dispatched to the 237 block of South Pinellas Avenue following reports of an attempted robbery.

According to police statements, the victim was approaching her vehicle when she was suddenly confronted by a group of juveniles.
