DAVENPORT, Fla. – A 19-year-old Davenport man already on felony probation was taken into custody Monday morning after deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a community clubhouse in Palm Key Village.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies were dispatched to the clubhouse on US 27 around 8:23 a.m. on Monday, October 13th, after a report that a suspect had entered the building through a window.
Deputies arrived quickly and located the suspect, identified as Jaylon Arnez Harrison of Davenport, and took him into custody without incident.

During the arrest, Harrison was allegedly found to be in possession of two bottles of a prescription drug without a valid prescription.
Further investigation revealed Harrison was currently on felony probation for several previous charges, including grand theft of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, disrupting a school function, and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
Harrison was transported to the Sheriff’s Processing Center and charged with burglary, petit theft, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, and violation of probation.
