A 28-year-old middle school art teacher in Texas faces a third-degree felony child grooming charge after multiple students reported receiving sexually suggestive messages from her.
Haley Krista Radabaugh of Denton, Texas, was arrested on May 15 by the Denton Police Department acting on a warrant issued by the Irving Police Department. Records indicate she was booked into the Denton County Jail and has since been released after posting a $25,000 bond.
The investigation began when students at Barbara Bush Middle School in Irving approached a school official. According to the police arrest warrant, students reported that Radabaugh “was known to be having inappropriate sexual conversations with at least three middle school students and providing drugs to students.”
Court documents detail specific Instagram exchanges from May 13 between Radabaugh and a 14-year-old male student. The warrant notes that she wrote to the minor, “I’ll tell you what. You send me a photo of you, and I’ll send you one of me,” and later stated, “There was a kid I crushed on hard before you.”

Investigators also allege that Radabaugh sent flirtatious kiss emojis, used the word “babe” when addressing a student, and sent an image of herself appearing to exit a shower. Police noted the photograph does not depict nudity but shows her face and body from the mid-chest up with bare shoulders. The warrant states that the 14-year-old student told authorities he felt disgusted and lost sleep after receiving the messages.
Following the arrest, a spokesperson for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District confirmed that Radabaugh is a “former” employee and remains under investigation. The district issued a statement saying, “While we are limited on what we can disclose, we are deeply distressed and disheartened by these incidents.”
