TAMPA BAY, FL — Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie nose tackle Desmond Watson, the massive Plant City native who has embraced his unique journey in the NFL, is back on The Rock Stops Here Podcast to give an update on his path to the active roster.
The former Florida Gator, who was listed at over 400 pounds upon entering the league, spoke with host Rock Riley about his commitment to the Buccaneers, the challenge of his weight loss after initially being cut, and his timeline for officially seeing the field.
Watson, who was signed to the Bucs’ practice squad after making significant progress on his conditioning, told Rock how incredibly thankful he is for the organization’s faith in him.
