Imagine a favorite internet personality who never needs a coffee break, never gets tired, and never has to sleep. That is the reality Scienjoy Holding Corporation is building right now.

The company, a major player in China’s interactive entertainment market, has officially started deploying AI-powered live streamers on its platforms both at home and abroad. This move marks a major shift for the company, moving their AI technology out of the research lab and into the hands of everyday users.

In China, the company has introduced a “hybrid” model on its main app. This involves creating digital avatars that look and sound just like popular real-life streamers.

These AI versions are trained using data from the actual human hosts, meaning they can copy their behavior and hosting style almost perfectly. The main goal here is to keep the channel running around the clock. When the human host needs to log off, their digital twin takes over to keep the content flowing.

Scienjoy believes this setup helps everyone involved. The real streamers can save their energy for peak hours when the most viewers are online, leaving the AI to handle the quieter times and routine interactions. To keep things honest and follow strict local internet regulations, the app clearly labels these digital hosts in the menu. This ensures viewers aren’t confused about whether they are watching a person or a program.

Things look a little different on the company’s international platform, BeeLive. Instead of just cloning real people, they have added a specific section dedicated entirely to “Digital Streamers.” These are standardized AI hosts designed to handle various topics like gaming or online shopping. It allows the company to adapt quickly to different countries and markets without the high cost of hiring new talent for every single niche.

This launch is part of a bigger plan to change how the company identifies itself. They are looking to evolve from a standard mobile internet company into a tech enterprise driven by artificial intelligence. Victor He, the CEO of Scienjoy, views this as a validation of their technical skills.

He noted that moving forward, the company intends to deepen these AI applications to build a sustainable growth model that mixes technology with real-world business needs.
