Hernando County Sheriff's Office has made a third arrest in the Lincoln Road murder that happened in Brooksville.

Third Arrest Made In Brooksville Murder

HERNANDO COUNTY, FL. – Hernando County Sheriff’s Office has made a third arrest in the Lincoln Road murder that happened in Brooksville.

On Tuesday, detectives with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Unit located 54-year-old Kathy Redding Smith.

Smith was arrested on a charge of Accessory After the Fact to Attempted First-Degree Murder.

Smith was transported to the Hernando County Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Two other suspects, Gregory Lamont Smith, and Galvin Bernard Smith, were previously arrested in this shooting homicide that happened on June 21, 2020.

Galvin Smith was charged with a Weapon Offense – Missile into a Dwelling, Attempted Homicide – Attempted Murder in the First Degree (Premeditated), and Possession of a Weapon or Ammunition by a Convicted Felon.

Gregory Smith, Galvin’s brother, was charged with Principle to Attempted Homicide – Murder in the First Degree (Premeditated) and Principle to Weapon Offense – Missile into a Dwelling.
