LARGO, Fla. — Largo Fire Rescue crews responded to a heavy blaze at a manufactured home in the 13000 block of Robin Lane on Friday morning, August 14.
Dispatchers sent units to the scene around 9:45 a.m. following reports of a structure fire. When emergency crews arrived, they found the residence heavily engulfed in flames. Firefighters immediately began suppression efforts and were able to bring the blaze under control.
No firefighters or residents were injured in the fire. However, crews located three cats inside the home, all of which died.
The cause and origin of the fire remain under active investigation.
