Thousands of dollars in forgotten money are waiting to be claimed by Pasco residents and businesses – find out if your name is on the list before it’s too late.
PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Pasco Clerk & Comptroller’s Office has published its annual list of unclaimed funds, holding over $350,000 for thousands of citizens and businesses in Pasco County. Residents and businesses are urged to check the list on the Clerk’s website as deadlines to claim the money are approaching.
The unclaimed funds represent checks issued by the Clerk’s Office or Pasco County that were never cashed or were returned to the sender. According to the Finance Department, $170,149.66 is held within the Clerk’s Office’s coffers, while an additional $208,518.06 is held by the County.

“Thousands of citizens and businesses have unclaimed funds with our Office which they have either forgotten about or never knew was theirs,” said Clerk Nikki Alvarez-Sowles. “We want to raise awareness and provide a clear path for them to reclaim their funds.”
The comprehensive list of individuals and businesses owed money is available on the Pasco Clerk & Comptroller’s website at https://www.pascoclerk.com/150/Annual-Unclaimed-Funds-Publication.
While some individuals and businesses may be entitled to just a few dollars, others are owed thousands.
Important Deadlines:
- County’s Unclaimed Funds: Individuals and businesses who find their name on the County’s unclaimed funds list have 90 days from the publication date to complete the necessary paperwork.
- Clerk’s Office’s Unclaimed Funds: Those on the Clerk’s Office’s list have until September 1, 2025, to complete the required paperwork.
