Tom Brady – Wake Up Call For The Bucs?

TAMPA, FL. – The defending Super Bowl Champs found themselves down against the Dallas Cowboys on opening day and needed a game scoring drive, engineered by Tom Brady that ended in a field goal to beat the Dallas Cowboys 31-29. The Bucs brought back all 22 starters from last years championship team but know that it won’t be easy to repeat.

In fact I asked Brady what he took away from that opening night win?

Bucs are a heavy favorite to beat the Falcons Sunday. Atlanta was manhandled by the Eagles 32-6. But Bucs Head Coach Bruce Arians says the Cowboys game is long gone in his mind.

“Thursday night is over, it doesn’t matter,” Arians told the media this week. “A lot of teams don’t look good in the first week for whatever reason. We know how good the Falcons are.”

The Bucs have sold out every game this season, including suites and luxury boxes.

What a difference a year makes.

In fact, Brady says it was great to play in front of so many fans and is looking forward to that all season.

After the Falcons, the Bucs travel to Los Angeles to play the Rams and then the much-anticipated matchup against the Patriots in Foxborough for Brady’s return.

Although no Buccaneers players or coaches will talk about that game saying they’ve gotta take care of business each time out.
