TPUSA’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Pulls Massive Crowd Of 25 Million

The NFL might have had the bright lights of the stadium, but Turning Point USA (TPUSA) proved on Sunday that there is a massive appetite for a different kind of entertainment. Despite facing technical hurdles and being shut out of a major social media platform, the conservative group’s “All-American Halftime Show” managed to draw in a staggering 25 million views, carving out a significant slice of the Super Bowl Sunday audience.

The decision to host an alternative program came as a direct response to the NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny as the official Super Bowl LX headliner. The Puerto Rican artist had recently sparked controversy during the Grammy Awards when he used his acceptance speech to call for the abolition of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), stating, “ICE out,” and arguing for the humanity of immigrants.

For TPUSA and its followers, the choice of Bad Bunny was a bridge too far, prompting them to curate a lineup they felt better represented traditional American values.

The alternative broadcast kicked off with a heavy-hitting guitar rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and featured a roster of country and rock staples, including Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. The vibe was intentionally patriotic, leaning hard into the “All-American” branding that the organization championed leading up to the big game.

The road to 25 million wasn’t entirely smooth, however. TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet revealed that the show was unable to stream on X, the platform owned by Elon Musk, due to last-minute “licensing restrictions.”

While losing a primary distribution channel could have been a death knell for most digital events, the audience simply migrated elsewhere. By Monday morning, the numbers told a clear story: nearly 20 million viewers tuned in via YouTube, while several million more watched through Rumble and partner channels like Real America’s Voice and Charlie Kirk’s personal accounts.

Kolvet noted that these figures are likely conservative estimates, as they don’t account for large watch parties where dozens of people might share a single screen. He expressed that the sheer volume of traffic has already secured the event’s future, confirming that the organization is already planning a return for 2027.

The success of the broadcast highlights a deepening cultural divide in how Americans consume major sporting events.

While the NFL continues to aim for a global, pop-centric aesthetic, TPUSA’s counter-programming suggests that a significant portion of the domestic audience is looking for something that feels a bit closer to home. With 25 million sets of eyes watching, it seems the “alternative” halftime show has officially moved into the mainstream.
