Overnight Closures Impact Brandon Commuters as Crews Continue I-75 Pavement Repairs
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers heading north on I-75 from the eastbound Selmon Expressway will need to adjust their routes Wednesday and Thursday nights. The ramp connecting eastbound SR 618 (Selmon Expressway) to I-75 North will be temporarily closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, and Thursday, July 17, weather permitting.
This overnight closure is necessary for ongoing concrete pavement repairs on I-75 between Progress Boulevard and Woodberry Road in Hillsborough County.

Motorists needing to access I-75 North will be detoured. They should exit the Selmon Expressway at Exit 14, turn left onto Falkenburg Road, then right onto SR 60, and proceed east on SR 60 toward the northbound I-75 entrance ramp.
Electronic message boards and clear signage will be in place to guide drivers through the work zone and along the detour route.
Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling through the area and remain alert for construction workers. Planning for extra travel time is advisable if your commute is affected by these closures.
