In Georgia, authorities have arrested a local man after a Wednesday night shooting left two family members dead.
Deputies rushed to a home in the 4500 block of Gauntt Road after receiving multiple emergency calls reporting that people had been shot. When law enforcement arrived at the residence, they located two victims, identified as Jennifer Lynn Mincey and Amanda Mincey McBrayer, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
McBrayer was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. Responders rushed Jennifer Lynn Mincey to Grady Memorial Hospital, where deputies confirmed she later passed away from her injuries.
Law enforcement arrested Ralph Edward Mincey directly at the scene of the shooting. He was transported to the Walton County Jail, where he is currently being held on two counts of murder and an additional charge of weapons possession.
