Trans ‘Jeopardy!’ Champ Makes Mainstream Gush, As Another Record Held By A Woman Evaporates

The efforts by transgender women to erase records and claim titles held by biological women are not limited to high school track and field competitions in Connecticut or the swimming pool at the University of Pennsylvania.

It’s now on the set of “Jeopardy!” – where the question-answering prowess of Amy Schneider, a transgender woman from Oakland, is being heralded as an achievement for women.

As of Tuesday, Schneider had been the champion for 20 consecutive days, winning $768,600.

That tied the record for wins set by a female contestant, Julia Collins, who reaped $428,100 over the same span in 2014. It also surpassed the highest amount of money won during the 57-year history of the show, a feat belonging to a woman named Larissa Evans, who took home $655,930 in 2019.

On Wednesday, Schneider made it 21 wins, which, “Jeopardy!” tweeted, ranks fourth-highest of all time.

The national media has pushed the narrative of Schneider as the women’s champ.

NBC News, The Washington Post, Entertainment Weekly, People, “Good Morning America,” and the New York Daily News are just some of the outlets cheering Schneider’s accomplishment as “the highest-earning woman” that “Jeopardy!” has ever seen.

Conservatives, however, are pushing back on the narrative.

Rachel Bovard, the senior policy director of the Conservative Partnership Institute, tweeted, “Peak feminism now means handing over all the ‘first woman’ titles to men posing as women. From the athletics to the nerdy game shows, to the miracle of giving birth. Women, as a separate and amazing biological category, are meaningless. Great job everyone.”

Sarah Perry, a legal fellow at the conservative Heritage Foundation, noted on Twitter how NBC “attempts to convince Americans that a glass ceiling has been shattered but in fact, has built another one — to the great detriment of biological women everywhere. We know when we’re being lied to.”

Katy Faust, a contributor to the conservative news website The Federalist, added in a comment to NBC’s tweet, “Proving once again that men are the ideal woman.”

Yet, in contrast to the fawning over Schneider, the national media has not done so with Lia Thomas, the trans swimmer at Penn who is routinely smashing records held by women.

Neil Munro of Breitbart News noted on Monday that The New York Times, the Post, and the Los Angeles Times have all ignored the “Ivy League swimming scandal” that has been raging for weeks.
