The latest regional weather forecast indicates that daily highs will consistently hover in the mid-to-upper 90s, with heat index values pushing well into the triple digits.
For Saturday, the area faces a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, primarily concentrated between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Outside of this midday window, conditions will remain mostly sunny and hot. Temperatures are expected to top out near 95 degrees, though high humidity will drive the real-feel heat index as high as 106 degrees.
Light western winds will pick up slightly to 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon before dropping off. Heading into Saturday night, rain chances dip to 20 percent before drying out after 3:00 a.m., leaving partly cloudy skies and a low temperature around 78 degrees.
Sunday brings a nearly identical pattern. The region will see mostly sunny skies with another high near 95 degrees and a heat index peaking around 105 degrees. Winds will start calm before shifting to the west at 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Sunday night will clear up significantly, dropping to a low of 78 degrees.

The heat intensifies slightly at the start of the workweek. Both Monday and Tuesday will feature entirely sunny, hot conditions with afternoon highs climbing to 96 degrees. Overnight lows during this period will also rise, remaining around a humid 80 degrees under mostly clear skies.
Winds will follow a predictable summer pattern, starting calm in the mornings and shifting to a western breeze at 5 to 9 mph as the land heats up.
A slight shift in the pattern begins on Wednesday. The daytime high will hit 95 degrees under sunny skies before a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms develops after 2:00 p.m. These rain chances drop to 10 percent after 8:00 p.m., leading into a partly cloudy night with a low around 80 degrees.
The week concludes with a slightly higher probability of rain. Both Thursday and Friday are forecasting a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Despite the increased cloud cover and rain potential, daytime temperatures will stay hot, reaching highs near 94 degrees. Overnight lows will hold steady at 80 degrees.
