PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 275 in Pinellas County on Sunday afternoon resulted in the overturning of a truck and minor injuries to the driver.

The incident occurred around 12:35 PM south of 38th Avenue North in St. Petersburg. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a straight truck driven by a 41-year-old man from Pinellas Park was traveling southbound in the outside lane when the driver lost control on the wet roadway.

The truck rotated across all southbound lanes before striking the median guardrail with its right side. The impact caused the truck to overturn, coming to rest facing northbound.

The driver sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
