President Donald J. Trump announced on Monday that White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. In a statement released by the administration, the President confirmed that Wiles intends to begin medical treatment immediately rather than delaying the process.

Despite the diagnosis, Wiles plans to maintain her full-time presence at the White House throughout her recovery.

The President noted that her medical team has provided an “excellent” prognosis. Trump praised her decision to continue her duties while undergoing care, citing her commitment to the administration and her role as a senior advisor.

“Susie, as one of my closest and most important advisors, is tough and deeply committed to serving the American People,” the President stated. “She will soon be better than ever!”

The announcement emphasized Wiles’ intent to balance her health challenges with the demands of her position.

Trump added that both he and First Lady Melania Trump are fully supporting her during this time. The White House has not indicated any changes to the Chief of Staff’s responsibilities or the broader organizational structure as she starts her treatment.
