Former President Donald Trump lost one of his biggest allies on Monday, when Ineitha Lynette Hardaway, better known as “Diamond” of the conservative social media duo “Diamond and Silk,” passed away.
“Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina,” Trump announced on his social media platform Truth Social, on Monday night.
Silk’s real name is Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway Richardson.
“Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing,” Trump continued. “There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!”

The cause of death was not immediately known.
The duo’s Twitter account posted on Monday, “The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity! Please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family! Memorial Ceremony TBA.”
Diamond and Silk, who are black, rose to prominence on social media during Trump’s first run in 2016.
According to Wikipedia, they actually started their social media career a decade ago, questioning excessive force by police and supporting Black Lives Matter.
Yet they switched to become Republicans in 2015 and became celebrities in conservative media.
They defied the liberal narrative by boldly advocating for and defending Trump, often with a sharp and wicked sense of humor.

They could be seen as the antithesis to the joyless and mean-spirited liberal hacks on “The View.”
They also openly rejected the racial narrative of the left, especially the perpetual smear that Trump is a racist.
Just last week, they posted on their Facebook page, “Wouldn’t it be amazing if President Trump became the New Speaker of the House?”
