Trump Pulls MTG Endorsement, Calls Georgia Republican A ‘Ranting Lunatic’

In a move that rocked the Republican landscape, President Donald Trump formally withdrew his endorsement of controversial Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene on Friday, unleashing a blistering statement that branded the congresswoman a “ranting Lunatic” and accused her of losing her way.

The rift, which has been escalating for weeks, culminated in a lengthy written declaration from the President. Trump pointed to a cascade of “Record Achievements” since his return to the White House—citing a “Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes,” and “stopping EIGHT WARS”—and claimed that Greene responded to these successes by “complaining” instead of delivering results for her constituents.

“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia,” Trump wrote. “Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country… She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors.”

The President revealed the rift began over polling data that showed Greene stalled at a meager 12% in potential statewide races for Senator or Governor, warning she had “no chance” without his backing—a backing he stated she “wasn’t about to get.”

The statement turned personal when Trump addressed Greene’s frustration over his incommunicado status. “I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day,” he asserted, noting the demands of managing the administration with “219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead.”

Greene has recently drawn the President’s public ire for attacking his administration over domestic policy and, specifically, his recent foreign-policy moves, including Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa‘s White House visit on the Marine Corps’ 250th anniversary.

Trump concluded his remarks with a direct challenge to the congresswoman’s position: “I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Just days before the formal withdrawal, Trump had publicly dismissed Greene’s social-media tirade, telling CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, “I don’t know what happened to Marjorie… She’s lost her way, I think.”

Greene shot back Saturday on X, saying, “This and the Epstein files is why I’m being attacked by President Trump. It really makes you wonder what is in those files and who and what country is putting so much pressure on him? I forgive him and I will pray for him to return to his original MAGA promises.”
