President lashes out at “past supporters” pushing for more transparency on Epstein documents, calling it a “scam” by Democrats.
President Trump on Wednesday publicly rebuked and distanced himself from supporters who have relentlessly called for more information regarding documents related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump dismissed the ongoing clamor over the Epstein files as a “scam” orchestrated by Democrats and indicated he no longer welcomed the support of those demanding greater transparency.
“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bulls‑‑‑,’ hook, line, and sinker,” Trump declared. He further chastised these supporters, stating, “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”

The President expressed his frustration, arguing that despite his administration’s significant achievements in just six months, the focus remains fixated on the Epstein saga.
“I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” Trump wrote. He concluded with a stark message to those pressing the issue: “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!”
This sharp condemnation comes after a number of prominent Trump allies, including members of Congress like Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and far-right activist Laura Loomer, have publicly urged the administration to release more information and even called for a special counsel to investigate the Epstein matter.
For years, many Trump supporters, some now serving in his administration, have promoted conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death and alleged government cover-ups.

Trump, however, appears to have grown increasingly exasperated by the persistent fixation. Just yesterday, he expressed bewilderment over the interest: “I don’t understand it, why they would be so interested. He’s been dead for a long time. He was never a big factor in terms of life. I don’t understand what the interest and what the fascination is. I really don’t. And the credible information has been given.”
The President’s remarks follow a joint memo issued last week by the Justice Department and FBI, which reaffirmed that Epstein did not have a client list and confirmed his death by suicide in his New York City jail cell in 2019.
These findings only further fueled the discontent among some members of the MAGA movement, who have long held onto theories of a broader conspiracy involving prominent figures.

Epstein, who faced accusations of sex trafficking young girls, was known to associate with high-profile individuals, including Trump, former President Bill Clinton, and Britain’s Prince Andrew. His associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, has been convicted of sex trafficking.
