President Announces ‘Intense Negotiations’ Underway for Four Days with Mideast Community, Vows to Seek ‘PERMANENT AND LONGLASTING PEACE’
President Donald Trump announced late Friday that his administration is engaged in “very inspired and productive discussions” with the Middle Eastern Community concerning the conflict in Gaza, expressing unusual optimism for a deal that has eluded negotiators for decades.
In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, the President stated that “Intense negotiations have been going on for four days,” and will continue “for as long as necessary in order to get a Successfully Completed Agreement.”
President Trump painted a picture of broad regional cooperation, claiming “All of the Countries within the Region are involved,” and that both Hamas and Israel are fully aware of the proceedings. He specifically noted that Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu has been informed “at all levels.”
“There is more Goodwill and Enthusiasm for getting a Deal done, after so many decades, than I have ever seen before,” Trump wrote. “Everyone is excited to put this period of Death and Darkness behind them.”
The President emphasized the dual goals of the negotiations: the immediate return of hostages and achieving a “PERMANENT AND LONGLASTING PEACE!” He concluded his post by stating, “It is an Honor to be a part of this Negotiation.”
The White House has yet to release further details on the precise parties involved in the four-day talks, the location of the discussions, or the specific points of negotiation. However, the post signals a renewed, high-stakes diplomatic push by the administration to resolve the protracted conflict.
