Trump Slams “Deranged” MTG As Fuller Flips The Page In Georgia Special Election

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to celebrate Republican Clay Fuller’s special election victory while launching a scathing attack on the seat’s former occupant, Marjorie Taylor Greene. The President’s comments followed NBC News projecting Fuller as the winner of the Georgia seat left vacant by Greene’s resignation earlier this year.

In a post that quickly grabbed national attention, President Trump distanced himself further from his former ally.

“Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown’s (GREEN TURNS TO BROWN UNDER STRESS!) seat in Congress has been taken over by a wonderful and talented man, Clay Fuller, who won convincingly, and right from the beginning, despite many people running for that ‘TRUMP’ +37 seat, and despite the stench left by Greene,” the President wrote.

He concluded the post by adding, “Congratulations to Clay Fuller, a very large improvement over his deranged predecessor! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Fuller, a prosecutor who received Trump’s endorsement during the primary, successfully defeated Democratic challenger Shawn Harris in the runoff. Harris, a retired brigadier general, faced an uphill battle in a district where Republican candidates had already secured roughly 60% of the total vote during the first round in March.

The win ensures that the deep-red Northwest Georgia district remains under GOP control. During the campaign, Harris leaned on his extensive military background to reach out to moderate voters, but the “plus 37” Republican tilt of the region proved decisive for Fuller.

The special election was triggered by Greene’s unexpected departure from the House several months ago. While the seat was briefly empty, Fuller’s win restores a key vote for the GOP’s narrow House majority.

Election officials have indicated that the transition process will begin immediately so that the district has full representation for the remainder of the current legislative session.
