Trump Warns Of “Far Worse” Attack As Iran Threatens To Strike Tel Aviv

Tensions between the United States and Iran hit a boiling point Wednesday after President Donald Trump issued a warning to leaders in Tehran. In a fiery social media post, the President urged Iran to come back to the negotiating table or face a military strike that he promised would be “far worse” than the bombings of their nuclear sites last summer.

Trump didn’t mince words. He told the Iranian government that “time is running out” to cut a deal that would stop them from building nuclear weapons. To back up his threat, he claimed a “massive armada” led by the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier is already steaming toward the region. He compared this show of force to previous military moves against Venezuela, signaling that the U.S. is ready to act with “speed and violence” if diplomacy fails.

The warning comes just months after U.S. and Israeli forces launched “Operation Midnight Hammer” in June 2025, which targeted three major Iranian nuclear facilities. Trump made it clear that those strikes were just the beginning if Iran doesn’t agree to new terms.

“The next attack will be far worse! Don’t make that happen again,” he wrote. Sources close to the situation say the President is currently looking at options to target Iran’s top leadership and government buildings, though no final order to attack has been given yet.

Iran’s response was swift and angry. Ali Shamkhani, a top adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, fired back that the United States shouldn’t think a limited attack is possible. He warned that any strike by American forces would be seen as the official start of a war. Shamkhani vowed an “unprecedented” counterattack that would target “the heart of Tel Aviv,” directly threatening America’s closest ally in the Middle East.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also weighed in, saying that while his country is open to a fair nuclear deal, they won’t negotiate under the shadow of threats. He told reporters that Iranian military forces currently have their “fingers on the trigger” and are prepared to destroy any aggressor.

For now, the world waits to see who blinks first. While the White House insists it wants a peaceful deal to end Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the movement of warships and the exchange of heavy threats suggest the path to peace is getting narrower by the day.
