TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa’s Gasparilla parade and festivities may be canceled this year, but that didn’t stop Cliff Gephart, Conservative Grounds founder, from forming Trumparilla, complete with a VIP party with Roger Stone and a boat parade Saturdaay.
The weekend long MAGA Fest kicks off tonight in Ybor City.
“Gasparilla was canceled but Trumparilla was Born. Out of the ashes of one of Tampa Bays’ greatest days, shut down because of the China Virus and group of bold individuals would not stand by and allow normal life to stop,” says the Trumparilla website.
“It is astonishing that the City of Tampa could sanction a boat parade for the Superbowl but is frowning upon Gasparilla. We certainly should be able to celebrate events other than that sports championships,” said Gephart.
The Trumparilla website describes the festival as, “MORE THAN A BOAT RALLY, MORE THAN A PUB CRAWL, MORE THAN VIP PARTIES, TRUMPARILLA IS A WEEKEND LONG CELEBRATION OF AN AMERICA FIRST. TRUMP 2024!”
The festival kicks off at 6 PM Friday with an Ybor City pub crawl, that is scheduled until 11 PM. A Roger Stone meet and greet is scheduled for 6 PM and you can get tickets for that event here.
On Saturday, boats will stage and launch just south of Davis Island in Tampa, with the parade officially kicking off at Marjorie Park. There is an island part scheduled from 1 PM until 6 PM at Pine Key Island.
The party doesn’t end there. On Sunday from 12 PM until 8 PM, Conservative Grounds will host a MAGA Fest. This after party will take place at 13344 66th St N. Largo, FL 33771.
“MAGA Fest is an after-party. Come hang out with patriots, tell stories of the high seas,’ says Gephart. “Let’s get the MAGA movement, re-fired up. There are elections coming up in 18-months and we need to fight for everything.”
