Two Children, Two Adults Found Dead In Plant City: Police Hunt For Morning Video Footage

PLANT CITY, Fla. – Police in Plant City are piecing together the details of a mass shooting that left four family members dead across two different crime scenes on Sunday morning.

The investigation began on May 3, 2026, when officers were called to a disturbance in the 300 block of West Tever Street. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 4-month-old infant and a 4-year-old child who had both been shot; both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their 28-year-old mother was also found with gunshot wounds and was rushed to a local hospital, where she later passed away. A third child was located at the residence but was found to be physically unharmed.

As the investigation unfolded, detectives were led to a second location in the 900 block of North Burton Street. There, they discovered the body of a 55-year-old woman, identified as the mother of the 28-year-old victim. She had also sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
