TAMPA, Fla. — Two teenagers were arrested Wednesday following a firearms investigation that led to a search warrant at a Tampa residence, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives wrapped up the ongoing operation on Aug. 5, 2026. During the search of the home, deputies recovered two handguns, an AR pistol, and narcotics.
Authorities arrested 18-year-old Carl Petro III and 17-year-old Marco Parrilla Jr. on multiple firearm-related charges.
Sheriff’s officials have not released additional details regarding the specific charges or the types and quantities of narcotics seized. The investigation remains ongoing.
